Just something I wrote cause I didn't write for a long time. Written to re-awaken the know-how of writing. It's not very well written but I think that it serves its purpose whatever that may be.

The revolver slipped out of my hands and onto the soft carpeted floor. It landed there with a soft thud and then lay there in complete silence. I was becoming more and more aware of the extent of my injuries with each extended moment in which I tried to move. Slowly the arms. That brought about a sharp pain. Then only the legs. This gave an even bigger jolt of pain but it was a bit more dull and I thought that I could sustain it longer. Thus I stood up and walked out of the hotel room, trying my best not to move my upper body.
I could see the elevator doors as soon as I stepped out into the corridor which connected all of the rooms. It became a slow, unbearable torture as I slowly took those 20 steps slowly advancing to the elevator doors which I had hoped would magically open up for me as I neared. No such luck. I would have to push the elevator call button. But definatly not with my arms. Not with the condition they're in. I wasn't even sure of how many fingers I was missing. So I knelt and attempted to push the call button with my nose or my tongue. A muscle ripped somewhere by my left calf and I crumpled to my knees. I leaned my head forward and pushed the button with the increasingly numbing part of my forehead. The elevator came quickyl and, after a few attempts at standing up and finally managing to do so, I slowly stumbled into the elevator, waited for the doors to close and hoped that somebody in the hotel lobby would call for the elevator sooner or later. I was beginning to feel faint. Sooner or later I would black out. Due to the injuries and blood loss. Whether I would wake up or not would all depend on the whether I could get help in time. And that all depended on when some Joe Shmoe in the lobby would decide to use the lift to get back up into his room.
I passed the slow eternity of waiting by clenching my teeth. My facial muscles were the only parts of my body that I could flex to force my mind away from the pain. My head felt like some over-excited alarm clock just ringing and ringing its alarm to notify me of my impending casual death. I already knew my chances, had accepted them, but the pain wouldn't dulldown, wouldn't die or fade into the background. And so I stoo there, leaning against one of the elevator walls, grinning in a stiff muscular grimace of a man in a state of excrutiating pain. I wanted it all to end, to die without dying. To dissapear from the physical feeling of the state of my body. I wanted to be some deattached observer seeing the extent of my damage but not feeling it. And all those wishes dissapeared the moment the lift shifted and began its descent into the lobby of the hotel.
When those 2 mettalic doors returned to their sheaths I almost fell forward, out of the elevator without moving a muscle, but self-preservation kicked in and I regained my footing in a quick, pain-filled stumble. The person who rung the call button, some short, chubby bussinessman with round glasses and a complete look of shock on his face, stood there, shaking in fear, in my way. I moved forward, step by step, ignoringthe panic-stricken crowd around me. The little electronic eye in front of the hotel's front doors spotted me and the 2 glass doors slid open in a way that spoke of release. It was at that moment that the world tuned out, became a small tiny speck on my retina, and a slow, murming hum in my ears. I blacked out and fell forward, my face planted in the WELCOME mat right outside of the hotel.

Ignore the spelling mistakes.
EDIT: Fixed paragraph spacing. i.e. I added spaces between the paragraph to make it more readable.

| The Beard Stays! YOU GO! 2004-12-13 10:30:07 ET |

Tonight.
Tonight I will shave off my beard.
Well, it's not really a beard. It looks like....a thick mat of hair laying horizontally, hugging the underside of my lower jaw.
I will shave it off tonight.
Hmmm... The need for a scarf might arise from the cooling effect caused by a lack of hair.
Tonight!

Me, Enamon, and Venadium went to the mall to buy stuff. I bought 3 dvds. The Criterion(sp?) Collection version of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas ("One toke over the line!"); Lucio Fulci's The Beyond (I like House by the Cemetary more though); and Dark City (good movie but the cuts are waay too fast. Like every 2 - 5 seconds there's a cut.)
Anyways, I got home and then Saturday at 4am I got up, caught the 4:30 train to the ferry, caught the 5 o'clock ferry, took the train to the WTC PATH train stop, got on the path, got off at some station. Transferred to the Hoboken bound train. Got off at Hoboken. Got on a New Jersey Transit train. Got off eventually. Called my friend. Found out that he hasn't left his house yet so I had to wait for him inside the train station. So I went over to a payphone with a built-in TTY terminal and attempted to get the operators to dial ANACs so I can get the real number that they're calling from. Fun stuff when you're bored. Anyway, my friend's car apeared and I got into it (wow! The excitement!) This was about 9am. We got in and sped off. My tooth wasn't hurting so I was feeling fine.
At around 11am we arrived in Harrisburg, PA and went to the gun show. It wasn't as good as the one we went to a year and a half ago but at least this time I knew more about guns and could readily identify some of them. Having almost no money on me I walked around trying to find Arisakas, SKSs, Mosin-Nagants, Mausers, Nagant Revolvers, Tokarevs and Makarovs. Well, I found all but the last 2. I did find the Czechoslovakian Takarov copies but that's the closest I got to it. There weren't as many Mosin-Nagants or SKS as I hoped there would be but at least they were there. I'm pretty positive that almost all of the Mosin-Nagants that I saw were carbines because I was surprised at their short size. The SKSs were, if I remember correctly, even less in number but the hilarious thing was some of the pricing. You'd see them going for 120 bucks, 160 bucks, and then you get to this one table that just had one SKS laying on it with the following sign: "RARE SKS $760". That was probably the most ridiculous thing there. There was a shitload of Mausers as there should've been. There's so many variations on it that I would've been surprised if I only saw a few. Oh, funny story, there were 2 kids (I don't know why I call them "kids". They probably were older than me) who walked up to this guy selling Enfield Model 4s (if I remember correctly) and asked if he had any Turkish Mausers or where to find them. And the guy just looked at them bewildered and said "How should I know?". Why would a guy selling Enfields and only Enfileds have Trukish Mausers? And why were they asking him instead of the many people who had Mausers laying on their table? I'm guessing that the kids didn't know how a Mauser looked like and were probably askingthat verey same question to anybody selling a bolt-action rifle. Btw, most of the guns at the show, about... oh, I'd say 50% of them were bolt action .22s. It was totally ridiculous. There weren't so many last time I was there so it's really weird. What was also missing from this show were cheap handguns. Like 60 dollar revolvers from non-name companies or weird ass, reddish brown .22 broomhandle pistols with a barrel so long it reminded me of the Joker's gun in Tim Burton's original Batman movie. There was only one guy selling extendable battons but he was selling them at almost double the standard market price so I didn't get one. What I did get though is a pair of binoculars. 8-25x25. That's damn good. There were other tables selling 8x25 for 80 bucsk And 12x30 for $100! That's insane.
Eh,.. I gotta run now. i'll finish this post soon.
Anyways, then we drove back to New Jersey, I caught the train back to NYC, and then went to a friends birthday party where stuff happened.
Not too interesting of a post this is, me thinks.

One of my fillings fell out. The one in one of my molar teeth. In the back of my lower jaw on the right side. This actually happened a month. Ago. And it hurts like a motherfucker. FUUUUCK.
I'm gonna make a dental appointment as soon as I can. Fuck. fuck. The worst thing is that pieces of food get stuck in there, start decomposing and that makes it feel like my gums are on fire. Fuuuuckk fuuuck fuuuck.
