I've wanted to see this movie ever since my grandma watched a Russian-dubbed version of it.

The Mills Brothers    2004-12-03 20:17:14 ET
http://www.singers.com/jazz/vintage/millsbrothers.html

An astonishing vocal group that grew into one of the longest-lasting oldies acts in American popular music, the Mills Brothers quickly moved from novelty wonders to pop successes and continued amazing audiences for decades. Originally billed as "Four Boys and a Guitar," the group's early records came complete with a note assuring listeners that the only musical instrument they were hearing was a guitar. The caution was understandable, since the Mills Brothers were so proficient at recreating trumpets, trombones, and saxophones with only their voices that early singles like "Tiger Rag" and "St. Louis Blues" sounded closer to a hot Dixieland combo than a vocal group. And even after the novelty wore off, the group's intricate harmonies continued charming audiences for decades.

 Gah!    2004-12-03 07:11:00 ET

NEW YORK - International Business Machines Corp. has reportedly put its personal computer business up for sale in a deal that could fetch as much as $2 billion and close an era for an industry pioneer that long ago shifted its focus to more lucrative segments of the computer business. Its stock rose 1.6 percent in early trading in the wake of the report.

Le Monstre Fantome    2004-11-30 21:40:11 ET
So my birthday has come and gone (Nov. 30th) and not much has changed. I beat the game Mafia today. Stuffs.

Right now I'm reading up on phreaking. Learning about out-band signalling and stuff. Learning about ESS and whatnot.

And playing the Hackers dvd in the background. Set to the French language. With French subtitles. And laughing because the 2 don't match up.

Now I don't speak French but I know that the subtitles are off when the Phantom Phreak audibly introduces himself as "...Phreak. Le Fantome Phreak" while the subtitles introduce him as "...Monstre. Le Monstre Fantome."

I call shenanigans!

Fucketty Fuck Fuckers!    2004-11-26 11:03:48 ET
I failed! Nooo!

Here's why I failed:

Duringthe broken U-turn (aka the 3 point turn) I kinda forgot to shift into reverse at one point.

That wouldn't have caused me to fail except for the fact that later on, during a point where I had to make a left turn, I drove too far into the left lane on a small 2 way street!

Noooo!
