2021-04-28 01:02:50 ET so some white guy and some black guy got in an hour-long yelling match across the street from my apartment building tonight because, as best i can gather, this: white guy insists that martin luther king jr. was not actually shot because... reasons black guy insists that martin luther king jr. was shot and is also his father it sort of peaked at the white guy yelling "HE CAN'T BE YOUR FATHER. I'M 20 YEARS OLDER THAN YOU." and eventually concluded with the white guy calling the black guy "white man" and the black guy calling the white guy the n-word. i feel like i've just heard two twitter bot accounts yell at each other in real life. what a country. 4 comments

2021-04-14 22:52:01 ET so that previous post about my wallet being stolen... turns out it wasn't. i found it later in the afternoon in a drawer i've never put it in that i guess it fell into somehow despite me having thoroughly checked for it in said drawer already last night and this morning. and the other guy in the building who had his wallet go missing at the same time as me? just some bizarre coincidence i guess - even the manager was convinced there was theft happening but, no, just a really fucking weird day. well, at least i have my wallet now that it came back out of whatever interdimensional vortex it fell into. fucking hell. 2 comments
