2026-09-17 00:46:24 ET ok, for ONE (and only one) entry i'm going to be cool like spazztech (don't wanna do more than one entry like this cause then i'd be super cool rather than just cool) and denote that i went to _insert_concert_here_ and in this case _insert_concert_here_ was fucking negativland playing live at the internet archive and it was legitimately one of the coolest shows i've ever been to in my life - even though the weatherman literally phoned in his performance via a facetime call but, honestly, for the sort of stuff negativland does this just makes perfect sense and worked just fine. ¯＼_(ツ)_／¯ i don't know where else they're going on this tour after this but to the thousands of active SK members who will read this, you should definitely see them if you can. they ended the show with "christianity is stupid" which they said they hadn't played live since 1998, and they've now worked a bunch of apple product announcement event recording samples into the song which is great. also on that note, in the plethora of stuff that's both visible and not that they're using in their setup on stage (at one point the bass guitar pictured was being played with an electric toothbrush and run through god knows how many effects) they're utilizing both an ipod touch in a way that i've never seen in my life and also a fucking iphone 4. no laptops though, that'd be silly.  ^CLICK FOR LARGE.^ also i have not pooped tonight but i have a pretty good feeling about the morning.
