Ta-da!
If you're in NYC try tuning to somewhere between 1000 and 1200am. Somewhere in there you should be able to catch the show. It's a weak signal though.

| Dream stuff. Hopefully not too boring. 2004-10-25 19:43:34 ET |
|
I think my dreams are quite interesting. Most specifically cause of their consistancy in content. By that I mean that the location of the dream is usually constant as are the places within it. So when I lived in Brooklyn my dreams were happening in the same places. A volunteer run movie theatre that played whatever (this is actually a remnant of a childhood memory that somehow made its way into my mental dream world. Basically two of our neighbors in Moscow, a husband and wife team, had this DIY movie theatre thing going. And in some city they set up a DIY movie theatre inside a plane that was on the ground. I don't remember the specifics but it was great.) and just a lot of brownstone buildings.
Anyways, who cares but me? I can't explain to you the surroundings in my dreams and there's no reason for me to do that. What I want to talk about it a bit different. Basically I have these dreams every once in a while with the same repeating idea:
Basically it involves me looking out the window and seeing spaceships in the sky.
No, not like the movie Independence Day. I mean spaceships flying by but in such a way that you can't deny that they're there. Flying around andbeing in the general vicinity for minute if not dozens of minutes on end. It's great because it makes me realize a few important things.
Thing #1: Look up. Interesting stuff might be happening.
Thing #2: The world can change that fast. A glimpse upwards towards the sky and the whole world view is changed.
So it doesn't really have to be spaceships in the sky. It could be stuff like September 11th where the world changed when the WTC fell down (not changed in how we should react to things but changed in the fact that something that hasn't happened before: that is a foreign led terrorist attack that actually causes a geographic change) or when the whole election fiasco hapened in 2000. That was a great time. Revelatory events sprouting left and right. If you don't pay attention you miss things like that. And that's what I fell the dreams are telling me with their basic idea.
But now that I've moved upstairs I can actually see the sky and I'm paying close attention. Just like when you kneel and look at the empty ground only to see, after seconds pass, ants and whatever, I hope to see high weirdness in the skies.
Maybe I'll type up more dream stuff later.
Anybody wanna comment on dream stuff?

| Learning C (again) and running into problems 2004-10-20 09:44:46 ET |
|
Okay, this compiles but gives me an output of only zeroes. Why?
Source code:
#include <stdio.h>
int main()
{
int start, end, step;
int f, c;
start = 0;
end = 300;
step = 20;
f = 0;
c = (f-32)*(5/9);
for(f=start; f <= end; f + step) printf(" %d\t%d\n", f, c);
return 0;
}
Why does this only return zeroes?!

| Free Coast to Coast AM (Art Bel's show) stream 2004-10-20 06:29:38 ET |
|
For those who want to listen to Coast to Coastm AM (Art Bell's show though now he hosts it only on weekends while George Noory hosts it on weeknights) but can't get it on the radio (like here in New York City where the stupid program manager at WABC 770 decided not to air any of the weeknight shows!!! Asshole) and if you don't want to pay to listen to Art Bell's radio stream (provided by the radio station that he's on. It was free but now...) then here's a link:
http://www.wlsam.com/listenlive.asp#
It's some Chicago area radio station that has a live stream and has Coast to Coast AM as part of its schedule!
Tonight the guest won't be that good. It's just some guy from Newsmax talking about military tech. Now if Nesmax was reputable I'd listen in but I think I'd rather get my sleep.
Tommorow's guest is Lorraine Warren of the demon-busting due called "The Warrens". Ofcourse they're the people who broke the whole Amityville story so you can see that their reputation kinda matches up Newsmac's reputation.
Now Friday the first hour will be discussing animal anomalies. I don't know what that is but it sounds interesting. All the hours after that are open lines! Woo-hoo! That's where all the good stuff happens.
