Okay, so here's the idea for the first story. It's something I came up a while back but never actually used it to write a good story.
There's that stereotype of paranoid nuts wearing tin/aluminimum foil hats to block out the government mind control rays. So the story idea is that the main character enterains the idea of actually making a hat and wearing it for a day. Maybe as a joke, maybe as part of a Halloween costume. Anyways, the idea for the story is that s/he finds out that wearing one of those hats does in fact block out mind control rays that really are being sent out. And so what happens? That's up to you to come up with.
Yeah, yeah, if this sounds like the plot of "They Live" it's cause it's really close to it. But, then again, this sounds close to any other story where the main character stumbles upon the trye world beneath the perception of reality. This one hyst involves tin foil hats.
Oh, and if you're gonna partake in this then please make an SK post announcing that you're going to be doing this and also promote the contest.
