i've owned the whole myst series for years (and up to myst 3 basically my whole adult life) and somehow i've only beaten the original myst (and its various remakes including the newest one) and the original riven. started myst 3 multiple times over the years but for some reason never finished it. i'm dedicating myself to getting through the whole ass series now cause i don't know why i haven't. still working through myst 3 but i like it quite a bit honestly. the upside of those first 3 games still having pre-rendered visuals means they kind of hold up inevitably from a graphical standpoint. i think once i get through the whole thing i'll go back and beat OG riven again and then maybe try the remake of that too. we'll see i guess. such a unique series that i dunno why i just stopped and slept on it half-way through for all these years. |
