got sick of painting my nails all the time and switched to press-ons which also happen to be substantially longer than i’ve ever managed to get my natural nails without breaking them and now using any device with a touch screen or keyboard of any kind is a hilarious and perpetual comedy of errors.

My wife often has this issue and rips them off within a day or two as a result. Quote her: "How the fuck does anyone get anything done wearing this things?!"

hahaha. i definitely won't be ripping them off cause i do love the look and the convenience / efficiency factor otherwise. but yes it is clear that it's probably gonna take a good month or two to adjust / refine muscle memory in order to be able to type, tap, etc, in a reasonable fashion with these things.

oh well. give and take i guess. granted these are still just basically what would be considered normal / traditional feminine nail length, which i can deal with that learning curve. i know a lady who has some of those absurdly long ones that are like two inches and she somehow types and iphones and everything with them like it's nothing. i can only imagine how long it took her to get to that point. i'll just stick with the more manageable ones. d-:
