turboskanker 2022-04-11 13:12:20 ET linkedin deleted my account. i guess i talked too much about the vaccine-related sickness i've been dealing with for a month, and the treatment plan i'm on that's helping me recover, and the treatment protocols that have been implemented in other countries (with much better numbers than ours to show for it) for a long time now that are related. but go against the CDC/FDA/pfizer/moderna/murrica narrative, and big tech axes you. so nice they took into consideration that i'm a single parent desperately trying to get FT work so i don't end up homeless with a kid. these tech companies are staffed by real lovely people.

spazztech 2022-04-18 13:05:11 ET You have a pretty broad skill set (that's good!) but is there any particular kind of thing you would prefer? I probably have more contacts for UI/UX stuff than say, print, for example.

turboskanker 2022-04-19 00:01:15 ET honestly i'm open to pretty much anything so long as it pays decently, and i pick up new things way faster than most people too. and yeah UI/UX certainly seems to be more prominent these days, and i can definitely do it, so that works for me as well as anything. also open to any sort of creative managerial roles like asset management or stuff like that too. i'm open to pretty much whatever right now. i've done design in almost every medium digital and otherwise. and i can do other shit too in terms of organizational / project / product management stuff.

turboskanker 2022-04-19 00:03:02 ET my résumé is kind of a blessing and a curse. i've done a lot of stuff - concurrently, hiring managers love me and recruiters look at me like a deer in headlights. i pretty much always get hired when i can just bypass recruiting and talk to a hiring manager, and i almost never get hired when i have to go through a recruiter first. 🙄
