i went to sick call this morning about my knee, but forgot my slip, so i have to go back tomorrow. grrrrrrr i could've slept in. we didn't have to be in until 9:30 this morning, but sick call was at 06:30. so, of course i went. and got nothing accomplished. oh well, i think i'll go get a coffee

omg! I had sooooooooooooo much fun at my gig!!!!!! Not only did i make 70 bucks. i got to drink for free. and I played swing (my one true love) for 3 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got lessons with the lead sax player. Collin Mason (name drop) and he said that he wanted me to play in the Temple college jazz ensemble to beef up the band. Also, i'm getting called BACK to the band I just played with!!!!!! does it get any better? I am happier than a pig in **** right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

got a gig tonight. about 79-80 bucks. i'm playing in a big band in temple. should be fun. we'll see
