I need to thank everyone who made it, especially those who were as sick as I was at the party. There be some nasty bugs trying to keep us all down. And I need to thank those who got missed in the invite but made it anyway (Miss Margaret and Caroline :))
My friend Mr. Marks was in fine form harassing all who got in his way. One of my other friends was trying to get him away from her at first but then just started dishing the shit back at him, the only way to get him. My fondest memory of him is when he was insisting that I love Haujobb. I told him that I didn't need to be reminded and maybe he should go tell someone else.

The party last night was a success, only one mishap. Someone decided it would be a good idea to backup the toilet, luckily not with anything too nasty.
I was alternating between virgin cranberry juice and beer. There was no need to make myself hung over on top of being sick.
I want to write more on this but I feel the need to crawl back into bed. Hopefully my congestion will clear up more before I go back to work on Monday. And maybe the rev will clean the house when he gets up.

Time for me to kick back and watch Neon Genesis while other people finish the house clean-up in preparation for the party tomorrow.
I've had the crappiest cold keeping me down since yesterday. I ventured out on foot into the cold and wet to redeem a Suncoast gift certificate, drop some bills in the mail, and get some essentials from Fred Myers. I have never felt such an overwhelming urge to get out of a mall as I did today. I just wanted to yell "can't you see I have the plague? get out of my way and DON'T touch me!". I lugged two three hour fire logs the three blocks home from Freddy's in the cold/wet. Luckily it was not pouring.
I have spent the rest of the night making the majority of the house acceptable for receiving guests. You can see the counters in the kitchen again! It's a thing of beauty. *sniffle*

Blech. I have a sore throat today and a headache today. I might be coming down with that nasty cold that's been floating around for the last few weeks. Tis ok though, the season is over so my work can spare me if I happen to get ill.
I'll admit that the headache might be from me attempting to drink 3 liters of Heineken last night. I visited the ex-roommates and played Santa. Web thought it was a good idea to pass to me this giant bottle that his aunt gave him. Being the beer snob he is he refused to drink any of it. I think I had maybe one or two glasses left to drink when I decided it was time to stumble home. I had fun.
All gifts were well received and I felt something last night I rarely feel, overwhelming happiness.
BTW: I'm still on. Tune in!
