hell yea! 2010-04-11 06:37:42 ET ...remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street. so ready! Freddie is my fav.! in other news: lol. we are all good. Marleigh is 5 months old today. 5 MONTHS ! time has really flew by. It was like bam pregnant bam marleigh. crazy crazy. She gets in her little walker and she just goes goes goes. Its smazing how babies grow and learn. Watching her accomplishments developmentally every day is just so amazing. Nothing compares to being a parent. I love motherhood! She's showing interest in a cup now, so I'm thinking about introducing it. Shes just growing so quickly. Jason starts talking an EMT class this coming Saturday. Which is good. When he is done in 3 months and passes the test, then he'll get a $4 pay raise at his job. I am good. I'm not going back to school until next Spring. I just want to be home with the baby right now, and if I wait to go back to school next spring, then Jason will be able to work less hours and spend more time with us. We had a great Easter. I planned and organized the whole event, and we had a great turn out of about 20 head of family and more. The egg hunt was awesome. We had enough kids to do a babies hunt and a big kids hunt. The whole family came out and got along. People brought food and helped to clean up. We've already made some plans for next years Easter. We are going to try this with every holiday because it worked out so great. Here are some new pictures.... ok.. enough with the explosion of pictures. for now. lol. 4 comments 2010-03-10 10:28:11 ET is it...petty ... for it to bother me and kinda hurt my feelings that my MIL just jumped up and ran to the hospital while her niece is giving birth and didnt come up to the hospital while I was giving birth to her grandchild?? 3 comments 2010.....might be a good year.. 2010-01-19 14:59:59 ET So Marleigh is now 13 pounds and 7 ounces. She is 25 inches long. She is "talking" and smiling. She kicks her little legs and gets the cutest smile when she sees me, Jason, Nana, or Grandma. She is growing so fast, its amazing. She can also roll from her back to her side and from her side to her belly. In two weeks she will be making her 1st trip to Maryland to meet all her cousins, her great aunts and uncles, and great grandparents. I love motherhood, its so natural to me. Jason and I are both doing good, Friday we got a new car, (well used but new to us). Its a 2004 Nissan Maxima. Its in excellent condition. Thursday I go back to my gyno for a colposcopy. not too worried, just know how much they suck. 5 comments update, with pictures, as promised 2010-01-08 07:44:01 ET so, if its not one thing, its another. such is life. lol. after putting $700 into my car to "fix it", the engine blows up. Whatever, I'm done with that car. no more money into it, we are sending it to the scrap metal yard. We are going to get a new vehicle, Jasons next day off we are going to look around. Mommyhood, is AMAZING! Marleigh is a very good baby. She loves a bath and if shes not in the tub by 9:30pm every night, she will let you know you are forgetting her bath. As soon as her skin touches the water, shes totally content. Shes growing like a weed, smiling, and cooing. I had to supplement formula, which sucks because I didn't want to, but i wasn't producing enough. But after making a trip to the wic department to get more formula, the breastfeeding consultant pulled me into her office, for much needed support and knowledge. I had no idea that there were herbal supplements and prescription meds that I could take to help build my milk supply. Shame on the docotrs and nurses for not letting me know that and making me feel like I just wasn't good enough. Its like they truly feel that formula is so much better for your baby. I was right on the edge of giving up on breastfeeding. But I'm making a trip to gnc in a few days to get Fenugreek, and Marleigh is going to get more breastmilk. Jasons job is going great, hes been bringing home $1,000+ pay checks. So we are slowly getting back on our feet. Next month we are going MD, I'm the maid of honor in my friends wedding. I'm excited to go back and see my friends and family. ok..as promised, here are new pictures of Marleigh.
