i remember like 30 years ago when i had any remote reason to still even use websites like IMDB or talk about movies online.
in Modern Times™ however, now that Hollywood™ just endlessly makes the same 3 and 1/2 films over and over again to death and back and then to death again, i just can't manage to remotely care less about any of this. 🙃
amazon is indeed dumb though and i guess the backrooms looks kind of ok. ¯＼_(ツ)_/¯
and in fairness i still discover random indie or foreign films that are also often kind of ok - like 5+ years after they released and flopped hard in the theater amongst a million and a half HANS ZIMMER <BWOM> NOISE TRAILER movies that i can't keep hitting the "block ad" button for on youtube fast enough.
anyway i reiterate amazon is dumb. but seriously, genuinely asking, wtf is IMDB even good for nowadays anyway? the last time i used it for anything was to note that a crazy ex of mine in los angeles has won a bunch of emmies for doing makeup for ru paul. and that wasn't even worth noting! |
