I'm helping my mom do some project for some board of ed class. She's a junior high school bilingual spanish teacher. I'm supposed to use some site on www.kn.sbc.com/wired/fil to make some online research tool for kids researching stuff. Well, my mom decided to make it a research list on volcanoes. so I'm putting up links and stuff when I go downstairs to ask her about the introduction and stuff when she start telling me that the links are too complicated!!! WTF?! 3/4ths of the links she provided herself and apprarently anything that mentions the different type of volcanoes is "too complicated for them" because it gives scientific names for the types of volcanoes! WTF?!!! IF you pick the topic of volcanoes then how the fuck do you expect me to find 5 links for each category on volcanoes? 5 links for formation, 5 links for effects of eruption, 5 links for the locations of volcanoes that don't mention the types of volcanoes or use any scientific language?!!! How the fuck am I supposed to find websites that explain how volcanoes work while not mentioning that that there are different types of volcanoes?! Why did she pick a scientific topic when a.) she's not that good with science and b.) she herself said that these spanish kids don't speak English (hence the need for the iblingual class)?! HOW THE FUCK AM I SUPPSED TO GET LINKS ON VOLCANOES THAT ARE STUPIOD ENOUGH FOR A 3 YEAR OLD TO UNDERSTAND? I'm not saying that her students read at a 3-year odl level. i'm sayin that she considers any website with even one complicated word on it to be "for advanced SP classes"! WTF? Why did you give me those links then? And why the fuck did you pick volcanoes of all the subjects? Why not mountains or something fucking easy?!!!! |
