These past few weeks have seemingly been quite eventful if the only events you were counting were the ending of relationships. At this moment I'm counting 4 breakups including mine. I think I'm forgetting one or two.

So we think in words...but what if we don't think in words? What if words are just ..... identifiers? stretched around concepts or whatever sublayer it is in which we think in?
Hmmm
Ever have something in your head that seems logical? Or maybe something that seems to flow? As in rhythmically/rhyming? But when you phrase it externally (i.e. say it out loud) it doesn't flow or isn't as logical as it seemed in your head.
Maybe the underlying layer of thought is plastic and easily mutable but the verbal concepts (I don't know if "identifiers" is the correct word. Maybe avatars? Like cookie cutters dipped half way into water. They give a semblance of shape to something shapeless) have limiters. And when the concepts are being phrased in our heads with verbal identifiers we might be ignoring some but not all of the rules that apply to that aspect of identifiers. Like grammar or something. But when we express this concept externally like by speaking we can't ignore the rules and limits of the identifiers as easily and need to fess up to the fact that they affect the external output of our thoughts more than we thought they did (i.e. what we end up saying might not rhyme or whatever)
Uhm...this is hard to express properly. Need nap.

Some scattered memories.\
Something about somebody not liking a beer cause it's "blue-ribbon flavored". Like Pabst's Blue Ribbon. In the dream apparently the "blue ribbon" is used to a blue ribbon dissolved in the beer to produce a specific taste.
The other dream was actually a familiar one. In it I remembered having the same dream before or, to be more accurate, I dreamt about the same location before. Basically in the dream you can cross from Manhattan into the Bronx and maybe Queens by foot.. Not by going over a bridge, which is a possibility, but by going a second way. If you head north towards the Bronx (if I remember my dream geography correctly) you end up in a place where there's this factory type structure. This building that if you go into actually it a half-trap and leads you into this large enclosed town or something composed of rooms and stuff. It's this giant maze. In this dream, unlike when I dreamt about the same location before, I started off within the maze and had to make my way out (by following clues from memory) and then over the water into Manhattan. Just thought that is interesting. This makes me want to go and walk around New York more, exploring.

the darkness and the light
what is wrong and what is right?
the breath of death and sip of life
marks the start of morning
end of night

So I got me a mac mini so I can learn how to edit footage. Well, I've been procrastinating by claiming that I don't have any footage to edit. So I decided to make my own. Current idea for film to be shot with my canon powershot:
"Half-asleep"
Guy wakes up in the morning and walks to coffee pot and drinks coffee. The twist is that he has super-powers when he's half asleep and he doesn't know it. So he wakes up, gets out of bed, walks out his bedroom door, ends up somewhere else entirely, walks through a door, ends up somewhere else, so on an so forth till he ends up in his kitchen. Pours himself a cup of coffee and starts walking back with coffee in hand. Takes a sip as he walks out the door and ends up in Central park. Wakefulness hits him with coffee thus taking away his powers and he stands there wondering "wtf?"

What do you folks think?
It's called (at the moment):
Scorched Earth Winter
Have you wandered in the springtime
Through the fields all burnt and ashen
And have you wondered if it was time
To at last learn what has been done.
Come here closer and I'll tell you
Of the massive marching army
Arms in arms and feet in step
Leaving nothing in their wake.
Scorched earth winter
Leads to lonely summer
To forget is to accept.
I will not remember idly
Or we'll have lost our land in vain.
What happened here is just a small grain
In the sands of history.
But if we do not learn from past mistakes
Then that grain is all we'll be.
It's a simple tune that's been stuck in my head. Na na na na nananana. Na na na na nananee.
