I remember, years back, when Warren Ellis joined SK. I think he was at that period in life when you just want to join any goddamn social network in existence. Move in, establish your presence, and let your literary dick hang loose and floppy.

I'm pretty sure he deleted his account soon after. Is there a moral to this? Probably not. Only thing I know is SK still doesn't do https.

Is anyone still on here?

Are any of us real?

It makes you wonder.

We are small but a lot of us are still active here.

I am definitely not real.

I was just thinking about Warren Ellis' brief membership here a few weeks ago. Archive.org does have a few snapshots of his posts but wasn't very thorough so you can't read any of the comments. I still wonder how he found the place and what made him leave so quickly.

this site sucks.

also, vanadium, i believe he was invited to the site by vasa back when SK still had moderators such as he that occasionally did SK outreach elsewhere on the internet.

I'm real. Every few days.

I'm for real, but my other personality is for fakes.

I saw Warren mentioned in a documentary the other day, and I was like oh yeah, I know him. I don't think I ever realized how big of a deal he was when he was on here.

I'm not just real; I'm Kodachrome.

I just don't remember any of the cool kids apparently.
Although that Matt Holck guys name sounded familiar in the 'wasn't he that strange dude?' sort of way.

he was definitely the strange dude.

Speaking of Ellis' works: the main character in Russian Doll acts exactly how I imagine Spider Jerusalem would act in a live-action series. Whoever ends up playing Spider should study her acting and if they decide to gender-swap Spider then they should hire her. Or she could play Yelena since she ends up acting like Spider near the end. That's not really a spoiler though. In any way, shape, or form.
