I remember, years back, when Warren Ellis joined SK. I think he was at that period in life when you just want to join any goddamn social network in existence. Move in, establish your presence, and let your literary dick hang loose and floppy.
I'm pretty sure he deleted his account soon after. Is there a moral to this? Probably not. Only thing I know is SK still doesn't do https.
I was just thinking about Warren Ellis' brief membership here a few weeks ago. Archive.org does have a few snapshots of his posts but wasn't very thorough so you can't read any of the comments. I still wonder how he found the place and what made him leave so quickly.
Speaking of Ellis' works: the main character in Russian Doll acts exactly how I imagine Spider Jerusalem would act in a live-action series. Whoever ends up playing Spider should study her acting and if they decide to gender-swap Spider then they should hire her. Or she could play Yelena since she ends up acting like Spider near the end. That's not really a spoiler though. In any way, shape, or form.
