rckonbebe 2008-06-11 18:31:32 ET I still think that I could quite convinced that I am the only person in the world that can enjoy a sober life. I am not however convinced that I have any real friends, and even worse I don't have any fake ones either. It's funny how when you want to the right thing for you and your family,how many people you can't be around. I'm LONELY

handle 2008-06-11 19:38:12 ET i think life can really only be enjoyed sober. it seems to me intoxicants function as a place holder for a lack of joy or stimulation. unfortunately after a while it becomes difficult to discern the difference. everything truly pleasurable in life is better while sober. drugs are crutch, but sometimes people need something to lean on.
