 Ok so I cut my hair and gave myself bangs...I have mixed feelings about them. Not much really went on Yesterday. I did baby-sit but only for Koda. His sister Savanah went with her mom to her older sisters recital in Richmond. I did a little photoshoot with myself and thats about it. |
 Yesterday Quinten actually got to come home at a decent hour. We decided to go to the Bob's and get the Smith & Wesson model 500. He was so excited and when we get there...they don't have any in stock. He was so dissapointed. They will have more in at the end of next week. Not wanting to have to wait we decided to go to the Armory and see if they had it there. I knew it was on Indian River Rd. but Virginia roads never make any sense. I guess there are two that aren't connected. I couldn't find my way so we stoped at a gas station barrowed the phone book and called. They would have to special order it. We had just about given up when Quinten said something about the Bass Pro Shop. I called 411 and was linked through to the gun counter. I asked if they carried the Smith & Wesson Model 500 with the 8 3/8 inch barrel. "yes we do" ok how much is it? "999.99" great only 10buck more than at Bob's. SO we drive all the way to Hampton. We walk up to the gun counter wich was buisy even at 6:30 @ night. Wich isn't late but the parking lot was pretty empty so everyone that was there was at the gun counter it seemed. Well my question after the price should have been do you have any in stock, because when we finally get helped we find that they only have the display. Totally bummed. So we still don't own our new gun. Its pretty frustraiting. It wasn't a complete waste of time and gas though because all ammo was 10% off so we got 1000 rounds of 9mm and we also got some 22 rounds. At least we walked off with something and not empty handed. |
