brian and were one of the last people to see pirates of the carribean last night. i'm happy i finally got to see it. cause it was really really good. i was really impressed especially after all the hype and it being built up soooo much. i was very impressed with the lighting on the cg, for once it wasn't off, the pirates skeleton's had weight to them which most cg never has. it always looks weightless like gravity has no afect on it and it's just gonna float right up with the next gust of wind...

i just woke up a few minutes ago. i think my brain is rotting. i haven't woken up this late on week day in such a long time. gah.

i still haven't seen it either. =/ i was going to go last weekend with my joe but his grandpa got really sick and ended up dying so we couldn't go....i'm making him let me take him this week. grrrrr. i also want him to go with me to disneyland so we can go ride pirates of the caribbean. weee. i've heard so many good things about the movie, though...so i can't wait.

The CG was actually decent for once. The skeletons did look rather realistic.

ub3r: i usually have a very large problems with cg in movies. frankly i think they should stick to blue screen or puppets or clay. just cause cg doesn't look all that great. but i was quite wowed by it.

like i wasn't all that amazed by the cg in the matrix, let alone the second one. frankly you shouldn't have to cg actors cause they can't do the stunts you want.

same here. i generally can't stand cg. it ruined star wars.

I'm the same boat as Insomnia and Lars

ub3r: its the reason i didn't go see star wars. plus the idea just sounded retarded. it was the whole jar jar thing that threw me into the deep end. i right then said i would never see those films.. purely on pricipal. i've lead a very happy life since then. :)
