Washu 2002-12-01 17:37:16 ET The X-mas rush has begun. Yesterday the store was wall to wall people. Mateo and I were running non-stop for people from 11am till 6pm. I have sold so much stuff in the last two days. It's nice to see that almost everything I have chosen to purchase for the store is flying out the door. My goal is for it to be close to empty by December 25th. It'll be easy to inventory in Janurary and I'll feel like I've done my job above and beyond what's expected of me. I spent all day today working with Roxane. It wasn't even close to as busy as it was the day before. We still had fun and bounced around the store to Golgol Bordello and Kompressor. Some new pics. I need to learn how to work the camera better. Foodstuff and sleep needed soon...

Antoire 2002-12-01 22:36:19 ET i refer to it as "Giftmas", too. so much easier than the normal routine. i will need to make a 3 Monkeys run before i leave ... maybe find something cool to accompany my walking, beer guzzling, wind up tin Homer! :)

Washu 2002-12-01 22:38:48 ET retail sucks hard. just dealing with people on a clerk's level is frustraiting. i'm lucky i'm good at what i do because it allows me to have some leverage.
