2026-09-30 02:57:22 ET Wow, I've not posted here since June! It only feels like a month has passed since. Went to Sweden for a conf. Obviously brought a bag of Swedish fish as a peace offering. The joke failed when it turns out that Swedish fish actually are of Swedish origin and taste kinda close to the Swedish version of it. Oh, well. Maybe next time I'll bring some Swedish films over. ....and Urban Dictionary surprises me with its lack of entry for "Swedish film" which was 70s slang for a porn film. There goes that joke, Also, in unrelated news, there's a 90s cyberpunk film that takes place in Staten Island. It's called "Fresh Kill" (the infamous landfill was called "Fresh Kills").
