My dad flew in from Moscow on Tuesday. His plane took off 2 hours late to my mom had to spend 2 boring hours waiting for the plane to land at JFK. He's about to go through another passport. This is his second U.S. passport which he had only for 2 years or so and this one only has 3 pages left for visas. The first passport went through the same process. Wacky stuff. Too bad that you can't keep a passport once it gets filled up. Anyways, my dad also brought me a Palm V. He got it from my uncle like a year ago, took it to Moscow, realized that he didn't nned it, and now he brought it back... ubt he couldn't fit the cradle into the baggage. So now I have a Palm V but no way to charge it or to transfer files.
Oh, and that really is Harrison Ford saying "What up, bi-atch?!". It's his son's skateboarding video or something.
Also, I finished Cryptonomicon last night. I still hate how Stephenson, in the book, starts to go on descriptive tangents that are 20 pages long and aren't related to the story. Isn't the Cryptonomicon supposed to be the first part of a trilogy? |
