2004-09-15 18:58:37 ET Just got back from WBAI. It was funny. The usually open front door was locked and you had to ring in. When I asked why the guy at the front desk told me: "Oh, we're keeping somebody out." "Who?" "Oh, some guy called and said that WBAI is killing him. We think that he might actually come up here and take some action." Then I met up with J in the back and found which of the computers had net access. One of the computers had a Word document open which said "IN USE" in gigantic letters. Apparently the "IN USE" sign was there so nobody would disturb the last person's Solitaire game. Anyways, found some good news stories but couldn't print them out. Finally Emmanuel came in 10 minutes to the hour. We went into the studio and were told that the news was going to be going 15 minutes into overtime. So, as always, we cut them off cause they shouldn't be over-reaching their scheduled hours. Then Emmanuel talked about his arrest at the RNC protest and stuff. Stuff stuff. Then I went back to SI, met up with my neo-pagan friends (I'm agnostic. I only believe in higher powers when I want or need something from them.) Talked a lot of good stuff. Now I'm home. I'm gonna finish writing that story eventually. |
