2013-02-15 08:02:15 ET Is it wrong to feel like you are on a little vacation when your loved one is away? Travis and his dad left around 3:30 this morning to head to Lubbock for Travis's grandfather's 90th birthday and they will be up there for the weekend. This is the first weekend since we've been together where he is out of town and I don't have to be anywhere or do anything. He went on a hunting trip a couple of months ago, but my folks were in town. Before that, I had to go to NYC for my aunt's funeral and he stayed down here. It's crazy to think that there have been so few times when we have been apart since we have been together... Don't get me wrong: I love him and can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him, but I am treating this weekend as a lazy weekend which will include Chinese food and a "Sex and the City" marathon. Win. |
