59 hours!

Jynx 2003-06-08 08:30:53 ET Whooooooohoo! go me and my bad self for not smoking in 59 hours. Got a long day at work today...took someone's shift, so they would take mine next saturday. YAY! and TWO extra hours :] Man...money lasts so much longer when you don't smoke. Like...I still have that three dollars I had in my wallet yesturday, plus the five in the bank...man, if I were still a smoker, I would be completely broke instead of just a little bit.... It tends to get easier every day. Friday was hell on earth, yesturday wasn't as bad until I was no longer occupied...today...well, today has just started, but I think it might end up being hard because it's my first day working since I quit. And today some of my nerve endings will regrow, and my ability to smell and taste will be enhanced...HOORAY FOR AROMATIC, FLAVORFUL FUDD!!! :]

Jynx 2003-06-08 21:47:05 ET Jerome: The money I save will be spent doing things I couldn't do when I was a smoker, cuz I spent the money on smokes...or buying things I couldn't afford, etc...$150/month...can you believe that? I have spent about $12,000 on cigarettes. Nuclear Fallout: YES...quit NOW, while it will be easy! It doesn't do anything for you besides suck life and money from you. I wish I'd never started.
