Anyone who's heard of it, reading it, interested in it:
Dharma Punx by Noah Levine is a memoir of Noah's generation of punks. He, unfortunately, got caught up in the whole drug thing...crack, coke, heroine, etc...it's a story of his downfall and his rehab, and his discovery of meditation and a spiritual path. Well, he's having a book signing tomorrow, July 8 at the Booksmith on Haight in SF from 7 to 9pm.
Anyhow...I'm up at the crack of dawn getting ready for work...I actually don't feel too gross, I'm surprised.

Closing tonight with my store manager was AWESOME. We totally get along and play off of eachother...lol. I'm glad I'm getting closer to her.

Just got home from work. It wasn't bad at all, actually. I was occupied until we were ready to leave, which was cool. Had about five or ten minutes of total lax time, when it wasn't busy or when I couldn't think of anything to do. Ryan, the prick has been cheery the past couple nights, and I'm hoping that now he's a supervisor, he'll no longer be a dick...i've also come to the conclusion that A: It's gotten back to him that I hate his guts or B: I need to take his sense of humor with a grain of salt...mainly because the past couple nights, he's been cool to work with.
So...tomorrow's the big day I've been dreading...truthfully, I'm dreading the whole damn weekend. 24 hours of bullshit customers all coming in at once...and it's supposed to be warm. WELCOME TO HELL :P
So I came home to find out piznuppy outside. It was odd, but I thought maybe our housemates had forgotten to put her in again, after letting her out...but then I saw the drapes hanging out of our bedroom window and made the inference that she probably jumped out the window...crazy dog. I then felt no pity for her being stuck outside by herself all night because she did it to herself :P
...that didn't stop me from giving her all the lovinz in the world, though...anyhow...time to start cookin me some FEWD!

OMG...last night BEST NIGHT OF RELAXATION EVER! :] My best friend came and picked me up from work and headed to her parents' place and sat in their hot tub for TWO HOURS or so...with champagne...and cloves...and TONS of good conversation. Her mom gave me some Gevalia coffee...yum. They are my second family. I miss them :] Even though I was exausted from work, it was totally awesome to have the two of us hang out and talk and talk and talk...and not even really about the past and memories...but what's going on right now, today...::sighs:: we need more time like that together. Thankfully, we have the summer...she won't be shipped out until October.
OOO OOO! and any Eddy Izzard fans: HE IS COMING TO TOWN IN SEPTEMBER!! :]
