apples apples everywhere!

Antipathy 2005-07-12 07:27:29 ET Hurricane Dennis came knocking at our door.. oddly enough.. just ours.. no one else in the neighborhood. although our close county [Fulton County] is flooded. i came home to this a couple of days ago. Apples are covering the yard!! luckily i hated that tree and its nasty squishy apples! thank you hurricane dennis you just saved us 500$ of having that tree cut down! :-)

Alice 2005-07-19 14:08:09 ET I had to drop the birch in my front yard. I was quoted $600. I spent $100 on a used stihl, dropped the tree in an afternoon. Now the question it do I sell the saw for $200 (market value for used saw) Or do I keep it for later ; )

Self Proclaimed Geek 2005-07-20 05:39:38 ET you can always get a few spare bucks cutting up firewood and then selling it. Well here anyway, I'm not terribly familiar with the climate and such there
