umm sounds like your xp is fat32 format and your win2000 is ntfs
.... fat 32 can't use ntfs but ntfs can use fat32... so a solution would be to convert your xp partition to ntfs... there are other ways to accomplish what you want also
yah... i'm about to sue rockford because its been like 2 months since i've gotten my last check... getting tired of waiting.... you can use partition magic to convert it... it wouldn't be her jumpers because her win2k can recognize her xp.... you can format your xp harddrive and reinstall it... just make sure to make the partition ntfs this time... then you should be able to use both harddrives on both windows
well, mainly what i wanna do is only have XP but be able to use my other drive, but when XP runs (the computer decides whether it wants to run XP or win2k.. i have no control over it) i cant access my other drive, like its not even there..i wanna get rid of 2000, do you think that if i delete 2000 then XP would recognize the other drive because there wouldnt be another OS on it?
umm it should... if not then its what delete yourself said... it would be the jumpers then if it didn't... and i'm sure he can come over and help his ladie out ^^
and yeah every day i pick up my friend that still works there.. i wait outside and can see into a room where they install parts.... need a glasscutter soooo badly.... major come up i'm talkin about like 3 4 grand worth of stuff in there... and thats just running in a grabbing shit
you could always use a program like Norton Commander that would allow you to run both programs with the ability to pick which one runs (hell, i dont remember if they still make Norton commander...)
well, also when i run Win2k, the comp is real slow...
i dont know, rather than mess something up with my lack of computer knowledge, im gonna bring it down to a comp store and ask for help coz james doesnt seem to wanna get one of his computer savvy friends to help me out.
